All parking for the building is located on the upper interior floors to maximize access to and from the active building components, street and sidewalk. The fourth floor of the building contains outpatient care services. The roof terrace will be used for physical therapy and exercise classes. This 10 story building has 15,000 sf of ground floor retail space, 165,000 sf in 6 levels of parking decks and 45,000 sf in 3 levels of medical office space. A 10-story tower of luxury apartment rentals for seniors. Known as The Plaza at ParkSquare. There are 140 units, ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Location: Aventura, Florida Size of Project: 147,000 square feet Completion Date: 2018

This bed tower addition consists of a four story, 94,000 sf addition to house a mother/baby program and medical/surgery patient rooms, along with creating a new entrance to the hospital. First floor will house a new maternity suite with 10 LDR room, 3 C-section rooms and support spaces with the new entrance lobby. The second floor will house 28 private post-partum rooms, 10-bed private/open NICU and appropriate support spaces. The third floor will house 28 new patient rooms for medical/surgery with support space. The fourth floor will be a shell space for future development. The new health center features 90 private assisted living apartments with studio suites and one- and two-bedroom residences in Palm Court; 31 private suites in its Palm Lane area for memory care; and the Palm Terrace skilled nursing center with 74 private rooms. The building also accommodates home health services and medical offices, a new community dining room and bistro for independent living residents and laundry facilities. The project includes a 4-story 100-unit Assisted Living Facility. The first floor will have a dining room lounge, commercial kitchen, 12 units, and offices, mechanical and electrical rooms. On the 2nd floor-4th floor, there will be the rest of the units along with Arts and Craft and a 6,000 sf rehabilitation center. A 2-story expansion project. On the first floor the new emergency department and a new operating room suite with 16 operating rooms has doubled in size, increasing the number of treatment rooms from 21 to 39. The Center also features modern, private rooms, new triage positions, 16 beds for emergency treatment and a 12-bed clinical decision unit to help reduce patient wait time. The UM Life Science & Technology Park, is a multi-building, bio-medical research facility located on the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine campus. The Research and Development phase 1 (R&D 1) consists of a 7-Story research building and a two story “Tissue Bank” facility. A Neuroscience Research facility for spinal cord injury is located on the University of Miami Medical campus. The focal point of the L-shaped exterior is its glass enclosed curvilinear structure at the junction of the two laboratory wings. Three floors of research laboratories in an “open plan” concept, creates modules, with complete flexibility in rearrangement by scientists.
